As with regards to the title, as I was wondering home from Crossfire, Swansea's lovely gaming cafe (ill talk about this later) I stopped off at Mcdonalds - I know I hate myself for it too, i was just hungry at the time. Anyways as i was sitting at my table I overheard an American couple and their little girl, wondering what they were going to have:
"Do you want anything (little girl's name)?"
"I want just a burger with some cheese on top"
"Oh you mean like a cheeseburger?"
"No I want a burger with some cheese on it, i don't want a cheeseburger!"
----
So this argument carried on for a while, the little girl being about 10 or summat, im no good with guessign ages, heh. I tried very hard not to giggle in the corner. Just get the brat a cheeseburger and tell her its a burger with cheese on top of it, for god's sake. Sometimes i really despise Americans. Reminds me of the time i was in Pompei in Greece on a college trip. It was raining and me and my mate were in the cafe, just having a mess around on Mario Kart DS, when this little American boy came up to us:
"Hi" - he said
"Hi"
"Do you speak english?(!!)" I just said hi to him for god's sake
"Yes"
"I'm American"
"Great"
"Can I play?"
"..." - at which point he wandered of disheartened. I swear American kids annoy me so

Anyways like i said i had just come back from playing a couple of games for the Iguk tournament. 3v3 team deathmatch on Call of Duty 2, which is the game i just happened to be really good at. Turns out though the other 2 guys on my team failed to show, which was really helpful. So we had to draft in two other guys who just happened to be there, and who'd never played the game before. Honestly I am very good, but I just couldn't beat the other team with in-experienced teammates. Bear in mind my kills alone just managed to scrape one win, and the other win was a default win. But we lost against two other teams who just happened to have players who could actually play the game.
Speaking of Call of Duty 2, when i first came to this Uni i noticed there was a Free for all deathmatch tournament going, of which 3 match nights had already been played. Its been 4 weeks since i first started pplaying and now im 2nd in the league, and ive already won £50 in the random lotto draws that have taken place (being every kill = 1 raffle ticket with a draw at the end).
Not to be egotistical or anything but im proud ive caught up so quickly, and I have actually been 1st in all match nights ive played since i first started. Heres the league table if you want to see it.
Anyways can't be assed to write anymore for now, got a pub quiz to go to and a friend owes me a couple of drinks. Me and my mates won the pub quiz last time and got 6 VIP tickets to the local club the following night, and it was rather awesome.
